This Easter has definitely been different to others but with a sunny start in the UK on Friday we were able to make the most of our daily exercise.
Making time for a walk in the outdoors has great potential for ample return on your time investment. For one just some movement whilst taking in the fresh air is great for the body. Secondly, admiring the beauty in the creations around us, both natural and man-made have a great impact on our spirit. The third benefit is on our mind as we are given time to contemplate and work through the big things in our lives.
At the moment, we aren’t able to enjoy visiting new places so I hope that this Sunday Walks feature help you get around the country and enjoy the outdoors in another way.
Today I’m sharing some of the sights of my hometown, Blackpool. Some are from this weekend and others from a windy but sunny day earlier this year.
Blackpool has some nice parkland to visit even in the colder months. Here we visited Salisbury Woodland and Stanley Park.
Kept away from the bats! It’s nice to stop and appreciate the beauty. Art Deco Cafe
A few more familiar sights for day trippers.
