Have you ever got to the end of a long day, tired, exhausted and physically wanting to do nothing? Yet mentally, your mind is a-buzz, telling you that you should be doing something but you just can’t put your finger on what exactly it is?
That was me a few years ago.
How did I make it stop?
It started with things. Clothes, childhood games, books, videos, paperwork, kitchen utensils, cuddly toys, schoolwork, university papers, textbooks. So many things!
But that was just the beginning!
I also started decluttering my mind. Freeing myself from emotions and ideas that ultimately weren’t contributing to my happiness or that of my home.
As I learned about other people’s experiences of living with minimalism, of Stoic mindsets, of leadership qualities and the secrets of successful people my perspective changed and I started to feel….lighter.
And along the way, I created the Redhead Resolve. A way to share my experiences, learnings and perspectives on what I call “excess baggage”, in the hope that I can help people get rid of that weight and properly relax at the end of the day.
Is that you? Do you have excess baggage? Are you looking for a way to leave it behind instead of taking it on every journey? Then join me on my journey as I resolve to keep finding a way to simplify life, achieve my goals and leave other people’s expectations behind me.
Keep in touch!
It might not be obvious these days but I called the site Redhead Resolve because I am, in fact, a red head – with the fire and stubbornness that goes with it!
The dahlia was chosen as a symbol of the site because of its meaning – staying graceful under pressure, drawing on inner strength to succeed, staying kind and standing out from the crowd. The colour also conveys power and strength to the person who receives it as a gift.
